Festival Submissions – now open!
Whether you’re creating prints on your kitchen table, in isolation, in the studio or even outside with friends we want to hear from you!
We’re launching three open submissions for Print in Action Festival 2022. Apply to exhibit for Hands On, an exhibition showcasing handmade original prints from South West print makers, apply for a stall for our original print fair or submit to display prints of any size in browsers during the festival weekend.
Submissions are now open and we invite print artists at any stage of their creative journey to submit, artwork could be made on the kitchen table, in isolation, in the studio or even outside with friends. Best of luck!
Hands On Exhibition
Hands On is an open submission exhibition at Ocean Studios, a busy vibrant hub for Plymouth’s artists and makers. The Exhibition will run throughout the festival and will showcase handmade original prints from South West print makers.
Browser submissions
Join the Real Ideas Pop-up Print Shop, open for all local, national and international artists and makers to submit and sell work during the Print in Action Festival! The Pop-up Print Shop runs throughout the festival. A busy vibrant hub for Plymouths creatives, and aims to celebrate the talent of print makers from Plymouth and beyond.

We are on the hunt for Printmakers and suppliers supporting printmaking to join us at our original print fair as part of Print in Action Festival 2022. Join us from 22nd-23rd October at Ocean Studios, a busy vibrant hub for Plymouths creatives for a weekend celebrating Print in all it’s forms!
