Partnerships offer support and opportunities. This is the case for Game Changer – a programme that looks to help young people aged between 15 – 24 who are not in employment, education or training in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The programme provides a chance to:

Introducing our Game Changer partners:
From supporting young people to find work and develop skills to helping start-ups and enterprises thrive, Real Ideas work to solve problems and create positive and lasting social change.
As lead partner Real Ideas have a team of navigators who provide 1-2-1 support to young people on the programme. 1-2-1 support could be linked to helping develop skills, increase confidence or find areas of interest.
Cornwall Marine Network is a non-for-profit company that is made up of some 300 marine-based companies in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
They will enable employers to increase interaction between young people and employers to create pathways to employment.
Creative Kernow is the umbrella organisation for nine projects that looks to support the production and promotion of the creative industries in Cornwall.
Creative Kernow offer the chance for participants to get creative in a range of ways – from singing to writing novels to fine art design.
The Eden Project, situation in Boldeva, Cornwall, is an impressive attraction that looks to connect people with the natural world. The attraction features an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general.
Eden’s calming location provides the perfect place to let go of some anxiety to help young people find their way to education, employment or training. Participants have developed a disused field into what is now a training garden, where there are polytunnels and vegetable patches which allow young people to learn horticulture skills.
Pentreath provides mental health support for people in Cornwall. The organisation offers a unique approach to those facing challenges and looks to support anyone aged 14 years and over.
Pentreath have got their own team of navigators (what we call the people who work with young people) who work with participants on the programme in terms of support around their mental wellbeing.
White Gold (providing specialist support)
White Gold looks to provide specialist 1-2-1 support for young and vulnerable people in Cornwall. They provide helpful services for a range of situations including those who are vulnerable or at risk.
They support those referred to us with 1:1 mentoring to address specific the needs such as raising self-esteem, confidence, dealing with past trauma, isolation and support with mental well-being.
