Thu, 1st Jan 1970, 12:00am
Join us at Liskeard Library on 3rd April (4-6pm) to learn about volunteering opportunities and how you can support your community

About the Event:
Would you like the opportunity to support your local community and give back by volunteering at your local library? Whether you’re looking to boost your CV, need volunteer hours for your Duke of Edinburgh award, or just want to spend an hour or two each week helping others, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can offer their time and skills to support various activities at Liskeard Library. If you enjoy interacting with others and want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for volunteers who can:

  • Help shelve books
  • Assist and interact with library visitors
  • Offer support with computers
  • Work with young children
  • Help support local cultural events
  • Practice or learn café skills
  • Support fundraising activities

Interested?
Please book your spot for the open evening to ensure we have enough space. During the event, you’ll have an informal chat to learn more about the volunteering opportunities available and what is involved.
