We join with people across the UK and around the world in paying our respects to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
Her achievements across 70 years of service are too many to mention, but her support for Arts Council England is of special significance to us.
The Arts Council has supported generations of artists, audiences and young people to dream, create, share and grow. Real Ideas Organisation grew out of Arts Council funded work and we wouldn’t be here today, championing creativity, equality and social change without the institution she founded.
We send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones and everyone sharing in the loss and grief at this sad time.
