Tricia Stubberfield is one of a collective of artists chosen for a print residency at Ocean Studios as part of our Print in Action campaign. She is a fine art printmaker, performer and designer and is also studying a Masters at Arts University Plymouth.

We caught up with Tricia to find out what she’s currently working on. “I am about to begin my second year on the Masters programme at Arts University Plymouth, where I am currently making textured prints exploring place, material and memory.” Tricia also runs workshops; “I run monthly print and drawing workshops at Awenek Studio at Maker Heights, and I design the Rame Peninsula’s Dasson zine.” You can book Tricia’s workshops via her website here.

Tricia is inspired by many things in our natural environment and beyond, such as “the sea. Also puppeteers, music, new places, dancing, showers, velocity, collaboration, forests, processes, silence and birds.”

Keep an eye out for more of Tricia’s work popping up at Ocean Studios by signing up to our monthly What’s On Guide, and find out more about Print in Action Festival here.

You can follow Tricia on her Instagram @triciastubberfield and find out more about Arwenek Studio here and Maker Heights here.
