Calling all Future Makers past, present and future – Now is the chance to show off your creative, technical and construction skills with our first-ever Future Make competition.
Launching our first Future Make competition – As part of our residency at Illuminate, in honour of the Mayflower 400 celebrations and in recognition of the opening of our Spring-Summer programme, we are launching out first ever Future Make Competition.
The challenge – The challenge is simple: make something. However, as with everything that comes from Real Ideas, we believe in adding a bit of challenge and a pinch of purpose. So we are asking that you make something that will ‘brighten up the future!’.
We know each Future Maker out there has a different interest, talent or quirk so we want them to bring little bit of themselves to this challenge. The end result can be techy, funny, big, small, finished or showing potential.
The prize – The winner will win a full week of Future Making, a free Tech Will Save Us Creative Coder kit and a feature on the Real Ideas website. Get Future Making!
How to enter – Simply send us a photo of your creation plus a 150 word description to info@realideas.org. Be sure to add Future Make Competition to the subject line. Entries must be received by Friday 10th January. The winner will be announced on Monday 24th January.
Our judges will be looking for entries that demonstrates two particular future skills: the ability to ‘think differently’ and the ability to ‘make a difference’.
