This year Illuminate has two locations, we’ve put together some useful information to help you find your way to the event.
Please note, for this years festival there will be no event parking at Ocean Studios or Market Hall. We encourage those that are able to make use of the wide variety of public transport available
Ocean Studios
Ocean Studios, The Factory Cooperage, Royal William Yard, Plymouth PL1 3RP.
You can cycle, sail or walk to Ocean Studios, Plymouth city centre is 20-minute walk or a 12-minute cycle away. Find us at The Factory Cooperage, opposite Las Iguanas with the red telephone box.
Bus
The number 34 bus travels from the city centre and stops at the Royal William Yard. City Bus will be running additional services to the Royal William Yard, you can view the timetable here.
Use the 34 bus at Illuminate and benefit from the Illuminate reduced fares – during the festival it will be just £2.00 for Illuminate Day Rider and £4.00 for an Illuminate Family ticket (2X Adults 3x Children).
Train
The closest mainline station is Plymouth. Ocean Studios is a 30-minute walk away or a short bus or taxi ride from the train station.
Boat
Plymouth Boat Trips offer services from the Barbican to Royal William Yard and across the Tamar to Mt Edgcumbe, this service will be running a later ferry until 20:00 to cover Illuminate on Saturday/Sunday 20th/21st and 27th/28th November 2021.

There will be no event parking available at Ocean Studios. If you require accessible parking, please visit our accessibility page for more information.

Market Hall, Duke St, Devonport, Plymouth PL1 4PS

There is covered bike rack storage available at the Market Hall.
