Culture Bridge North East has launched its Imagine If… 2022 conference for those working in the education, arts and culture sectors. Through a mixture of interactive workshops and keynote speakers, Imagine If… 2022 offers an opportunity to explore the current issues faced by children and young people, including:

• Special educational needs and designing inclusive, creative learning.
• LGBTQIA+ education, opportunity and community.
• Climate change and the climate crisis.
• Child poverty and the effects of class inequality.
• Creative careers and cultural accessibility.

Free tickets for the conference are available to book now with sessions taking place in Newcastle upon Tyne and online from 7th-11th of November. Melanie Burgess, Programme Manager at Culture Bridge North East, said: “Our vision is for every child and young person in the region to have a rich cultural childhood, so at this year’s conference we are asking the question ‘What can we do right now to create equality of access to arts and culture?’

“Imagine If… is now in its seventh year and we are really proud of this year’s programme. We’re looking forward to bringing people together from across the education and cultural sectors to explore new ideas and make real changes with and for children and young people.”
