Who Are We?

Real Ideas is a social enterprise using creativity, innovation and community to power change — across the South West and beyond.
Who are we?

The Future of Creative Opportunity in the Southwest

Real Ideas is a creative social enterprise helping people and places across Plymouth, Cornwall and the wider Southwest thrive through imagination, community and opportunity. We work from three inspiring spaces — Devonport Guildhall, Liskeard Library and the Market Hall, home to our impressive 360° immersive dome, a unique venue for creativity and digital exploration.

At the centre of this is the Devonport Creative Quarter, where we’re transforming historic buildings into a lively, inclusive hub for artists, technologists and the local community.

Across our wider work, we support people at every stage of their journey. Through our Education & Engagement programmes, we offer creative learning for children, families and schools; through Pathways, we help individuals grow confidence and shape their futures. Our Consultancy & Projects work strengthens neighbourhoods and organisations, while Creative Futures develops skills and opportunities for those entering creative digital careers.

Together, we’re building connected, creative communities — and opening doors to new possibilities.

Supported by an incredibly talented team.

We wouldn’t be able to achieve all we do without the talented team we have.
