What's On

Live and Later

Thu, 1st Jan 1970, 12:00am
Poetry and Spoken Word night with open mic, support and headline performances.

Come along to our regular spoken word and poetry evening. Book yourself an open mic spot or just buy a ticket for the show. There will be wonderful work shared by our local regular performers, plus support from emerging talent Zac Leon, all washed down with a fantastic headline performance from Tash Vibransea. Optional theme: Changes.

Hannah Temme is a poet and dancer based in Newquay. Relatable and eloquent, searching but humorous, her work navigates the beautiful but dysfunctional world we live in, exploring social issues; the interconnectedness between femininity and the natural world; climate collapse; youth and aging; and just living a full life in Cornwall. Over the past few years she has been involved in spoken word and storytelling initiatives across Cornwall, participating in productions, films, festivals, and working with organisations including SproutSpoken, Apples & Snakes, Prodigal Theatre and The Mor Poets.
