Enjoy Pilates under Helios, abeautiful sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist, Luke Jerram. The sun will be suspended in the main space of the Market Hall, within the beautiful listed building.Commissioned by the National Trust, Helios takes its name from the Ancient Greek personification of the Sun and follows Jerram’s acclaimed astronomical artworks Museum of the Moon, Gaia and Mars.
The artwork fuses high-resolution solar imagery with a specially created surround-sound composition by Duncan Speakman and Sarah Anderson, incorporating NASA recordings of the Sun. sun will be suspended in the main space of the Market Hall, within the beautiful listed building.The Dome provides a beautiful space and atmosphere allowing you to fully immerse yourself in an hour of You-time.
Suitable for all levels from the absolute beginner to the Pilates-wise, I really look forward to taking you through 45 mins of gentle movement, deep core connection, alignment, breathing and relaxation all under the stunning sun……. why not treat yourself to a cuppa from the lovely Cafe afterwards too!
Please bring a mat and a water bottle.
