The Eden Project education team have put together “a range of free curriculum and lessons plans can that help you teach both primary and secondary classes.” The subject areas include everything from biology to design.” From measuring and calculating with leaves in Key Stage 1, to exploring plants as food, medicine and materials in Key Stage 3, there’s a variety of fun lessons to get you and your pupils outdoors this Autumn.
There is also online or in-person CPD on offer, as well as school improvement opportunities designed to “help you get your pupils learning outdoors, in nature and for sustainability.” From curriculum consultancy to school grounds development, there’s something for each school, no matter where you’re based.
Although visiting the Eden Project is a truly unique and wonderful experience, if your school is based too far to visit, they offer virtual workshops so your pupils can still “enjoy a dose of Eden inspiration” whilst learning about science and nature.
