Bristol Old Vic have now launched four online resource packs for KS2 teachers. These are intended to help allow small and rurally isolated schools benefit from working, whether directly or indirectly, with a large city-based arts organisation. The Old Vic have worked closely with their partner, Light Up Learning, to make sure these are all closely tied to the curriculum in a cross- curricular multi-disciplinary way.
The resources can be found here: https://bristololdvic.org.uk/teacher-resources
“Developed in collaboration with Light Up Learning, the University of Bristol Theatre Collection and Bristol Archives, RE:SOURCES shine a light on the amazing stories of a theatre that has been entertaining Bristol for the last 253 years. Key parts of the Key Stage 2 history curriculum are all addressed, as are key requirements for other subjects including English, science and design and technology.”
