Wildflower Immersive Experience
As part of World Earth Day, come and colour in your very own wildflower and see it grow before your eyes in the Market Hall immersive dome.
This interactive immersive experience was developed by Real Ideas and Pollenize CIC to re-wild our virtual city with green spaces and wildlife and show how every small contribution can create huge positive impact for pollinators and our planet. As more flowers emerge, bees, insects and other pollinators will begin to thrive!
This is a pop-along activity and your ticket enables you to come and add your flower at any time between 3-4.30pm. You’ll also be able to enjoy a range of activities celebrating World Earth Day and the Good to Grow Weekend thanks to a drop-in Growing with Nature event hosted by Food Plymouth and Green Minds between 12:30pm – 4:30pm. Come and get involved:
• Plant & seedling swapping
• Learn how to use the Harvest-ometer
• Add to the Growing with Nature Map and find community growing opportunities near you
• Seedball making
At 2pm, they’ll be running a guided walk around Devonport to highlight community gardening projects, an ideal opportunity for those keen to network and meet like-minded people.
