Interested in tech but lack confidence with numbers?

Keen to take a next step to a digital future but anxious about the maths?

Got creative skills but worried about how they add up to new opportunities?

Come along to Multiply at the Market Hall for this short course on Thursday 9th March, 9:30am-3:30pm.

Multiply is a new programme offering you free and easy to access courses and initiatives to help you brush up your numeracy skills and Real Ideas is offering a series of free courses to eligible adults taking some of the fear out of figures.

Focused on hands-on film making with 360° cameras each course lets you explore and create with this cutting-edge technology – and see your work on the only 15 metre, 360° immersive dome of its kind in Europe.

You’ll experience some awe-inspiring immersive dome films, get to know the basics of Insta360 camera use, plan and film your own short 360 content, use some simple editing tools to finalise your production and enjoy your very own mini-premiere film screening!

Along the way you’ll find out more about some of the numbers behind the design and construction of the immersive dome and build confidence in the key filmmaking concepts of time, distance, space and shape. You’ll also get an insight into the world of work in immersive technologies.

Travel Information

Market Hall, Duke St, Devonport, Plymouth PL1 4PS

At Market Hall, we’re working on a dedicated place for parking but for now, it’s limited. We are an environmentally conscious organisation and encourage our visitors to prioritise green travel. Please consider getting the bus, cycling or walking to visit us. We have plenty of space for bikes to be parked securely on-site and one electric car charging point.

More information on bus routes and car parks nearby can be found here –

We value the relationship we have with our neighbours so if you need to drive to Market Hall, please avoid parking on the pavements around the building or in front of people’s drives. Please make use of the car parks we have identified in the area that are all within walking distance.

When you arrive, please use the main entrance via the steps (Duke Street) or ramp (via Wall Street).

When leaving the building at night please be respectful and consider the people living in the residential area.

There are a couple of disabled parking spaces on site – please advise us of any additional needs so we can make your visit enjoyable and comfortable.

There is a wheelchair friendly entrance on the west side of the building. The Market Hall is an accessible building, with accessible toilet facilities, lift access to upper floors and an accessible bar. Blue badge parking is available at the rear of the building.
