Junior Print - 22nd April - 20th May - 5 Week Block
Junior Print – Have fun with Printmaking! Five-week block of Saturday workshops for children age of 8-13 years old.
Following on from the popular Junior Print Club sessions introduced at Print in Action Festival, we are running a series of five-week workshops to inspire and learn through Printmaking for 8 – 13-year-olds!
The Junior Print runs from Saturday 29th April to Saturday 27th May from 2 pm to 4 pm.
We will take them on the Printmaking Adventure.
They will play with processes, colours, materials and textures. Each session will act as mini project unlocking different skills and increasing printmaking knowledge, with elements of collaboration, creative thinking and ideas testing.
Your children will get an exciting and rare insight into the specialist printmaking equipment, and they will be inspired and encouraged by our local artists – facilitators sharing their skills and knowledge.
What to expect?
- The sessions are two hours long. Parents are welcome to relax in our café whilst the sessions are in place.
- The five-week sessions must be booked as a block during term time on recurring Saturdays for 5 consecutive weeks (29 April, 6 May, 13 May, 20 May, 27 May).
- Workshop is recommend for children age of 8- to 13-year-old.
- All materials are included, and children will get to take their final masterpieces home.
- We will exhibit the work on the final day to reflect on the work created.
- Price: £37.50 (five-week block booking) needs.
