Film, Media & Entertainment
Upcoming Dates
Visit Market Hall for a truly immersive experience. Explore new worlds in our state-of-the-art dome – the only one of its kind in Europe!

This May, Plymouth is holding its first-ever Urban Tree Festival!

As part of the festival, we are hosting an immersive storytelling workshop at Market Hall for children aged 7-12 years old.

First, we’ll be watching an immersive dome show called ‘The Life of Trees’ – watch the trailer below for a sneak peak!

After getting some inspiration, and feeling comfortable in the immersive dome, the group will join the wonderful, Nina Hills in our workspace for a storytelling workshop.

Each child will be encouraged to write a creative short story or poem about the importance of trees, from an insects perspective!

After unleashing their creative writing, we’ll be heading back to the immersive dome to perform our short stories for parents and loved ones in a virtual forest. If anyone is feeling shy, we have volunteers on hand to read their stories for them.

There are limited places available and parents are not required to stay for the duration of the workshop.

Morning Workshop:

11am – 1pm : Life of Trees Dome Show & Storytelling workshop

1pm – 1:30pm: Showcase in the dome for parents and families
