Beth Munro Open Studio

Get a chance to explore the studio of Beth Munro at Ocean Studios between 27th Aug – 4th September as part of Print in Action.

You'll be welcomed into the studio and get a chance to meet the artist, learn about inspiration, browse new works and get an insight into the printmaking journey and process.

Beth Munro is one of the Real Ideas Members leading on Print in Action, including Print in Action Festival on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, October.

About the Artist

‘I'm a Printmaker who has been part of Ocean Studios for the last 5 yrs.

My work reflects my passion for the natural world, in particular, the sea and shore.

I'm interested in many Printing processes, especially Etching and Monotype.

I use the Print/Press rooms at least once a week for my own work and also deliver tutored workshop time on the first Saturday of the month.

I'm very excited about Print in Action 2022 happening at Ocean Studios, Plymouth. It's a great way for Printmakers to connect, share practice and collaborate.

It's also a fantastic opportunity for the public to come and see what Printmakers do and to buy their first Original Print!

I hope that it is the beginning of a new age in Print for Plymouth.’

What is Print in Action?

Print in Action brings printmakers from Plymouth and beyond together, revealing incredible talent, and celebrating print in its inspiring forms. Led by the community of printmakers at Ocean Studios and starting in April 2022.

Print in Action is a six-month programme of workshops, masterclasses, talks and discussions, culminating in a three-day festival from 21st – 23rd October 2022. For more information CLICK HERE.
