Vote for Column Bakehouse at Plymouth Food Awards 2014

By 21st May 2014 No Comments

Column Bakehouse has been nominated at this year’s Plymouth Food Awards, and we need your help for them to win!

Column Bakehouse is an artisan bakery situated in Devonport Guildhall, a social enterprise community hub and RIO’s main office in Plymouth. Since it officially opened as an artisan bakery only last year, the recognition it has already gained is an achievement in itself, and one we’re very proud of. To win would take us one step further in our journey, becoming a more widely recognised and sustainable enterprise.

Column Bakehouse has been nominated in three categories at the Plymouth Food Awards 2014: Local Food Product, Local Food Producer and Sustainable Restaurant/Eaterie. You can vote for once for each category, so please use your votes to help us win.

You can vote by emailing info@foodplymouth.org stating you’d like Column Bakehouse to win, and the category/ies that you are nominating them for. You can also vote online here.

Voting closes on 26th May 2014.

Column Bakehouse is an artisan bakery with a passionate baker and a loyal customer base. It uses locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, supporting Plymouth suppliers and producers.

If you haven’t yet tried its speciality loaves, which include tempting focaccia, ciabatta, wholemeal and its famous sourdough, then drop in and pick up a loaf, or enjoy something in-house. They’re open six days a week from Mondays – Saturdays, and you can also find them at various food fairs in and around Plymouth this year.
