Sam brings a wealth of creative innovation experience to her role as Arts & Making Navigator.
She has been a director of a creative design company based on open ended play concepts and worked in academic environments developing & project managing commercial enterprise and academic research, as well as supporting arts organisations on strategic programming and curation, facilitating creative community projects region wide, and teaching individuals and groups in applied arts practise.
With broad experience in the Arts, events & project management, enterprise development, marketing and creative facilitation, Sam offers both practical and strategic advice for all aspects of arts and making activity.
Her practice and training bring established skills in the applied arts, lateral thinking, strategy, business startup and creative problem solving; providing guidance for those looking at art production and entrepreneurship, or those simply looking to enrich their lives through artistic endeavour.
As an arts practitioner and musician, Sam is an advocate for the vital role of art, writing and music in people’s lives. Her mentorship offers diverse access routes into the arts, designing workshops to be responsive and skills-based and with the aim to develop enjoyment and enthusiasm as a first step.
