Lord Young’s Enterprise for All report was recently accepted by government and we want to make sure as many people see it as possible, especially those working in the educational sector.
The report focuses on making education relevant for young people, businesses and our economy. We too believe that young people should engage in real world learning. It’s already happening in some inspiring educational establishments in small pockets of the country with some brilliant examples, and we’re eager to see this continue.
In November we hosted an ‘Enterprise for All’ conference which saw schools and businesses from across the South West come together, with the conference aiming to connect schools with the local economy. It was a very successful event which saw schools realise their potential as businesses and also build the foundations for firm relationships with local businesses.
