From supporting young people to find work to helping start-ups succeed, we work towards creating positive, lasting social change. Through our buildings we provide a space to work and learn; we also run workshops, activities, events and festivals.
During lockdown we have thought long and hard about ways we can use our spaces and facilities to support more people. We are carefully reopening our spaces, taking the opportunity to make changes.
Customer Experience Host role
We would like to slowly start building a team of brilliant casual Customer Experience Hosts in Newquay and Plymouth.
Hosts will be the first point of contact for Real Ideas members and visitors to our buildings; ensuring everyone is welcomed with a smile and gets an amazing experience.
We’ve made the role varied so it is a great opportunity to experience new things, this could include:
- Helping set up and deliver events and experiences
- Facilitating groups and ensuring members are well catered for
- Dealing with enquiries
- Taking orders and serving great food and drink
You will need to be flexible, proactive, and curious and happy to try something new! We would love people to join our team in a busy, friendly, and welcoming environment.
We will offer training and support to help you get ready for the role, including paid trial shifts as part of recruitment. We are also proud to be a Real Living Wage employer.
