XR21 IMMERSIVE ARTS SYMPOSIUM
Step into the future of Virtual Reality! XR21 presents the first Immersive Arts Symposium in
collaboration with Real Ideas, Time and Space and Futures 2021.
There will be workshops on how
content for Virtual, Augmented and Extended Reality is created and exhibited.
We will trace the history of ‘Immersive Arts’, their emergence into the 21st
century and the possibilities they open up for the future as the world becomes
more connected through digital immersive platforms.
We will explore different forms of
sound software that include Logic Audio, Nuendo and Halo to understand how immersive sound is created for headsets and
‘Immersive Domes’. We will also examine how Adobe
Effects can be deployed to create various forms of immersive vision for

of immersive artists who are exploring the possibilities of art and sound to
‘create’, ‘inform’ and 'perform'. Our aim is to explore and utilize the
creative potential of VR, AR, MR and XR for exhibition, performance, education
