Enterprise and social enterprise principles are at the heart of all our work. We believe in nurturing innovative, entrepreneurial young people, who have an appetite for change, the will to make a difference and understand how business can be used for good.
We believe schools are the perfect breeding ground for real youth led social enterprises, and working with young people to grow real social enterprises gives them the perfect place to apply subject specialist skillsm knowledge and understanding.
We support schools to develop the young entrepreneurs of the future by designing and delivering Enterprise Challenge Days and extended, Enterprise Learning Programmes for schools. These programmes always involve designing and putting into practice real enterprise solutions that solve important problems for the school or the community.
We support schools to embed enterprise and social enterprise into curriculum delivery, developing relevant, real and fun learning that has a social enterprise learning challenge at its heart. As well as delivering directly to young people, we provide consultancy and business coaching to school leaders, supporting them to innovate and develop an entrepreneurial ethos across their school.
We can also support schools to accredit their enterprise learning activity through the SEQ – a nationally recognised qualification on the QCF progression ladder devised and developed by RIO.
