RIO’s ‘Enterprise for All’ conference only one week away

There’s only one week until schools across the South West come together with local enterprises in RIO’s upcoming ‘Enterprise for All – connecting schools with the local economy’ conference, to explore the links between the changing landscape for the economy and education. The day-long conference, taking place at Devonport Guildhall in Plymouth on 20th November, is supported by BIS – the Government department for Business, Innovation and Skills – and the Peninsula City Deal Growth Hub. It aims to start some strategic conversations around key issues including workforce development, skills gaps and meaningful enterprise education.

Representatives from educational settings including Devonport High School for Boys and Tavistock College will be in attendance, and key contacts from businesses including Enterprise Village and Plymouth Chamber will exhibit their offer.

The conference is part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, a week long nationwide celebration of enterprise, and will include workshops, presentations, debates, and networking opportunities.
