RIO’s latest learning programme is designed to develop enterprise and employability skills through helping create a community-based project. It takes place in RIO’s Liskeard office on 26 Fore Street every Saturday from 11th October 2014, from 11am–2pm. The course will run for 10 sessions. People living in Cornwall are invited to apply.
Those enrolled will learn about social enterprise ways of thinking, and product or service development using their social enterprise know-how. They will gain practical enterprise and employability skills, learn how to work as part of a team, and gain useful project management and marketing skills also.
Candidates will also gain RIO’s internationally-recognised Social Enterprise Qualification at Gold level 2 award on the Qualifications and Credit Framework.
Course funding is available for those in full-time employment or volunteering for 8 hours or more. Candidates must live in Cornwall to be eligible. To sign up for the learning programme, please contact Teifi Warner on 07595 491021 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
