Designers of the Riversimple Rasa – as seen on the BBC – the radical new and innovative hydrogen fueled cell car come to Plymouth.

Leading social enterprise RIO and the Market Hall, the South West’s future space for all things digital, are introducing their next digital-themed free event at Devonport Guildhall on Thursday 16th June.

‘Closing the Circle: Digital, Transport and the Circular Economy’ will focus on how advances in technology are shaping transport and creating new opportunities to reimagine mobility. Three leading innovators in the field of automotive design, the circular economy and digital sharing will shape the presentation and debate, as the event explores what these new opportunities mean for productivity, health and the environment.

With presentations from Stafford Lloyd, Riversimple’s system engineer, Mark Hodgson, Director of Co-cars Ltd and Martin Howitt from ODI Devon & ThingsCamp, the event will be chaired by Ed Whitelaw, Head of Enterprise and Regeneration at RIO and will finish with a Q&A session and debate. There will be a bar and food available on the evening.

The evening event begins at 6:30pm, and is open to anyone with an interest in the growing digital sector! You can find out more and reserve your free tickets here.

This event is being organised in partnership with RIO and the Market Hall, with support from Co-cars Ltd, Riversimple and Devonport Guildhall.
