Get involved with BBC Blast this summer with our mobile media village touring the Southwest!

Real Events is managing this year's BBC Blast Southwest activity which means that through July and August, BBC Blast’s mobile media village will be touring the region offering young people age 13-19 free creative workshops, showcases and masterclasses across 3 packed days.  

There’ll be workshops covering all things creative from fashion to filmmaking, graffiti to gaming  – you could find yourself writing your event’s leg of Blast’s national radio play, or catching up with MOBO award winner Akala and refining your rhymes in a hip hop Shakespeare workshop.  You could aslo sign up for a two day filmmaking intensive, try your hand at animation, or drop in to the Discovery Truck to make your own mobile ringtone.

There are four stops in the region this summer – we’ll be in Truro 16-18 July, Clevedon 23-25 July, Bristol 31 July-2 Aug, and Barnstaple 6-8 August. So why not find out what’s on offer near you?
